The Saint George River Home is a wonderful place to be in the winter months for a southern Utah vacation. When the weather is cold in northern Utah, the weather in Saint George is mild and the year-round recreation is world-famous. Zion National Park and Snow Canyon State Park are some of the most well-known recreation areas in the state of Utah. Their beauty and amazing recreation make these two parks wonderful for winter recreation.
Zion National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. Angel’s Landing and The Subway are two of the most famous hikes in Zion National Park and are some of the most spectacular hikes in the world. During the winter months these hikes are amazing and when a snowstorm comes through the area, the snow on the red rock makes these hikes even more striking.
Snow Canyon State Park is well-known in Utah. It is one of the most beautiful state parks I have ever visited. There are slot canyons, arches, red rock formations, and lava tubes. The views in this state park are stunning and the recreation is endless. Hiking, biking, rock climbing, wildlife viewing, and jogging are all recreational activities available in Snow Canyon State Park in the winter months.
The Saint George River Home is just a short drive from both these amazing parks. In the winter months these parks are much quieter and more peaceful and the weather is mild. Winter is one of our favorite times of the year to be in these parks. When the sun goes down and the temperatures get cold in the winter, the Saint George area has some great restaurants, movie theaters, and other night activities for your group to enjoy.
