The weather is starting to get warm in Saint George. Spring is a special time of year in this area. The beautiful weather, blooming, desert, and water in many of the canyons makes it one of our favorite seasons of the year. Due to the beautiful weather many sporting tournaments and events are held in Saint George in the spring. The mornings are cool, and the afternoons are just about perfect for being outside. Families come to Saint George in the spring for sports tournaments, spring break, and for a family vacation, because of the ideal weather and the endless outdoor activities.
Saint George family vacations often include hiking. There are many great hiking areas around Saint George for families to explore. Snow Canyon State Park, Zion National Park, Red Cliffs National Recreation Area, and the Dixie National Forest are some of our favorite areas to hike. There are many other areas to hike in the Virgin River Canyon and Beaver Dam Mountains if you want to explore new areas that you have not been to yet.
Many families also enjoy mountain biking in the Saint George area. The Bearclaw Stucki Loop, Gooseberry Mesa, and Rim Runner Loop are a few of our favorites, but there are many other mountain bike trails all around Saint George. We encourage families to get out and explore and find some of the hidden trails that are around this beautiful area.
There are many other outdoor activities to do in Saint George in the spring including: golfing, looking for desert tortoises, playing at the park, and rock climbing. Many families enjoy spending most of the day at the River Home swimming, playing volleyball and basketball, and playing lawn games in the privacy and luxury of this three-acre property.
