Saint George in June and July is perfect swimming weather. The Saint George River Home has an indoor and outdoor pool to beat the heat this summer. The outdoor pool is perfect for swimming and relaxing when the weather is nice in May and June and if a storm rolls in then the indoor pool is great to continue the fun and swimming inside. There are also waterparks and splash pads all around the Saint George area if your family wants to get out and explore Saint George during your Saint George vacation. Here is a few of our favorite spots to swim and get wet this summer.
There are many splash pads around the Saint George area, but our favorite must be the Saint George Splash Pad downtown at 50 S Main Street. It is a great spot for families to relax and children to play in the water. The shops and restaurants around the area are great for doing a little shopping and getting a bite to eat. The children will have a great time playing in the water and the adults will find plenty to do or can find a nice spot in the shade to read a book.
The Sand Hollow Aquatic Center just north of Saint George is a great spot to get wet and have some fun with the family. There are large swimming pools and a water slide. Both children and adults will enjoy this great aquatic center during the hot summer months.
Sand Hollow State Park is a great lake to do some swimming or boating in the summer. Families that enjoy boating will love relaxing on the lake and enjoying this great state park. Those families that just want to have a picnic and do some swimming or cliff jumping will find plenty of good beaches for relaxing and taking a dip in the lake.
