Saint George is beautiful in April and May and is one of our favorite times of year to be in the Saint George area exploring and relaxing with family and friends. In this blog, we will share some of our favorite outdoor recreation ideas for the spring when we are in Saint George.
Swimming is one of our favorite spring recreation activities when we are spending time in Saint George. Children and adults both love to swim and relax in the pool and hot tub during warm afternoons and the Saint George River Home is amazing for groups that like to swim like we do. The outdoor and indoor pool are great for swimming and the large in-ground hot tub is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the evening. The pools and hot tub are completely private in the backyard of the River Home and your group will have them all to yourself to relax and swim in privacy with your group.
Hiking is another one of our favorite spring activities. Saint George is a great area to stay with your family and friends if you enjoy hiking and walking in the spring. Snow Canyon State Park is just up the road about 10 minutes from the Saint George River Home and is an amazing area to hike and explore for both adults and children. Zion National Park is one of the most famous national parks in the United States and is about 40 minutes from the River Home. Groups that want to take a hike in one of the most breathtaking national parks can easily drive up to Zion National Park for a day of hiking in world-famous natural scenery.
We also love to get out and do some sports and lawn games in the spring with our family and friends. The Saint George River Home has large lawn areas that are great for playing lawn games and sports with your family and friends. The property also has a private pickle ball court, basketball court, and sand volleyball area that are great for families to relax and enjoy some sports in the comfortable spring weather. Groups that enjoy golf will find a putting green on the property and many great golf courses all around Saint George.
