Saint George is an amazing place to vacation any time of year. There are endless things to do around the Saint George area. There are many great family vacation spots all around Saint George for families to have amazing experiences while they vacation in Saint George. Here are some of our favorite family vacation locations around Saint George to enjoy with our family.
Snow Canyon State Park is an amazing state park just outside of Saint George with lots to do for families. Families that enjoy hiking will find many trails to explore. Most of the trails are under five miles long and are relatively easy hikes for children and adults. There are also biking trails both inside Snow Canyon State Park and around the permitter of the park for families that enjoy bike riding. Many of the trails are easy trails for families to ride and can be accessed from the park entrances. There are some more difficult mountain biking trails in the state park for more experienced riders. Snow Canyon State Park also has some great rock formations for children to climb and play on.
Zion National Park is one of the most famous national parks in the world. It has towering canyon walls and massive red rock formations. Family can choose from a variety of different ways to see and enjoy the park. Families can simply drive through the park from one entrance to the other and see the beautiful canyon and formations from the comfort of their car. There are also several short hikes for families to enjoy and children can play on the rock formations and enjoy a picnic in this beautiful national park. More adventurous families can hike some of the longer hikes into the heart of Zion National Park and see the beautiful canyons and spectacular views.
The Saint George area has many waterparks, splash pads, and swimming pools. These waterparks and splash pads are amazing for families to enjoy in the summer months. The Saint George River Home has an indoor and outdoor pool for families to enjoy right on the property, but the Saint George area has splash pads and water parks for additional water fun in the summer.
