Saint George is one of the best spots in Utah to spend time in the winter. The weather is mild, and the recreation opportunities are endless even during January and February.  We try to spend as much time as we can in Saint George from January to March and we spend time outdoors with our family.

There is endless recreation in and around Saint George in the winter. Several great golf courses are found throughout Saint George. Those families that want to get out and hike will find great hiking trails in Snow Canyon State Park, Zion National Park the Dixie National Forest, and Red Cliffs Recreation Area. Sand Hollow State Park, the Dixie National Forest, Pine Valley Mountains, and Beaver Dam Mountains are some of the best areas in the state to ride ATVs. Even those that want to ski or snowboard can be to Brian Head Ski Resort in just over an hour.
