Snow Canyon State Park is one of the most amazing near Saint George to take a hike or go on a bike ride. There are endless hikes in Snow Canyon State Parks to enjoy no matter your fitness level. There are many hikes that are short and easy for families. The Lava Tubes, White Rocks Amphitheater, and Petrified Dunes are some of our families favorite short hikes. There are also longer hikes if you have more time. Jenny Canyon Trail, Butterfly Trail, and Cinder Cone Trail are some hikes that will take a little bit longer. For those that feel like a bike ride there are paved roads that go into Snow Canyon State Park as well as mountain biking trails around the perimeter of the park.
Zion National Park is one of the most beautiful and iconic national parks in the United States. It has world famous natural scenery and hiking. The Angel’s Landing and Subway hikes are world-famous for the amazing geologic structures and natural beauty. The fall and winter at Zion National Park are much less crowded than the summer months and the mild afternoon temperatures make the fall and winter months are great time to visit Zion National Park.
Red Cliffs National Recreation Area is a beautiful red rock area just north of Saint George. There are many hikes and bike rides in this area. It is a great area for families to take a hike or have a picnic for the afternoon.
