The weather is beautiful in the autumn in Saint George and the hot afternoons are perfect for relaxing around the pool and swimming with children. The River Home has an outdoor pool for these beautiful afternoons and an indoor pool if the weather gets cool. Families that enjoy splash pads and water slides will also find plenty of splash pads and water parks around Saint George. The large hot tub in the backyard is great for families to relax at night or for children that enjoy playing in warm water.
Hiking is another favorite activity for families in the Saint George area. There are many world-class hikes around the Saint George area and families that enjoy getting out and exploring will find many amazing hikes to enjoy while they are staying in Saint George on their fall family vacation. Zion National Park and Red Cliffs National Recreation Area are two of the most well-known hiking areas near Saint George. Sand Hollow State Park, Gunlock Reservoir, and Quail Creek State Park are all amazing reservoirs near Saint George to boat, swim, kayak, paddleboard, and play in the water.
