Hiking and mountain biking in the afternoons during the winter in Snow Canyon State Park is one of our favorite activities to do in Saint George. There are many hikes to explore the great rock formations and structures in this state park. The White Rocks Amphitheater and Lava Tubes are two of our favorites.
Golf Courses abound in and around Saint George. For those families that enjoy golf the Saint George area is a great winter getaway to golf several different courses in the winter months when many golf courses around the country are closed.
The other unique thing about Saint George in the winter is the weather is mild enough to swim and play games outside most days. The Saint George River Home has a large indoor and outdoor pool for swimming year-round. The large in-ground hot tub is great for relaxing and soaking on a cool winter night. The large property is perfect for playing yard games, basketball, volleyball, and pickle ball with your family even in the winter.
Zion National Park is one of the most iconic national parks in the world. Tourists come from all over the world to see the amazing canyons and rock structures in Zion National Park. The winter is a special time at this spectacular national park. We love the white snow on the red rock and during this quiet time of year it is peaceful, and you can see much more wildlife.
