Saint George is an amazing city to visit with your family. There is so much to do in this area that your family will never run out of things to do. There are great things to do in town for families with children of all ages. There are also great outdoor activities to enjoy outside of the city that will be fun for everyone in your group. In this blog we will share some of our favorite spots for families in Saint George and the surrounding area.
Downtown Saint George is a great area for families to spend time relaxing and enjoy time together as a family. In the winter months there are lots of Christmas lights around downtown and it is a great time of year to be downtown with your family enjoying the Christmas lights and decorations. In the other months there is a great splash pad and urban creek for the children to play in and cool down. There are also some great parks for children to play at. Year-round there are lots of delicious restaurants for families to go out and eat together. In downtown Saint George there are lots of options for food, you can get great sushi, burgers, Indian, and Mexican.
There are many great golf courses and bike trails around the city of Saint George. Families that like to get out and play golf or take bike rides will love this area. There are so many bike trails that your family will never run out of trails to ride around town. The beautiful golf courses are surrounded by red rock landscapes and are beautiful with the green grass and red rock landscape.
Outside of town there is lots of great hiking and mountain biking in the area. Snow Canyon State Park is a great area for families with children of all ages to hike and bike. Families will also find great hiking just north of Saint George at Zion National Park. The Dixie National Forest and Red Cliffs National Recreation Area is also just north of Saint George and is great fun for families to explore.
