Snow Canyon State Park is a great spot for families to enjoy some time in the outdoors and get out in the beautiful fall weather. The state park entrance is only about 10 minutes from the Saint George River Home and is easy to get to for families. There are many hikes throughout the park and families with small children will find plenty of easy hikes that small children can enjoy and play on the rocks. There are also longer, more challenging hikes that are great for families with older children or groups of adults. There are also biking trails around the exterior of Snow Canyon State Park and also within the park boundaries that families can take a bike ride through the park or ride around the park. A bike ride is a great way for families to get around the park and enjoy the spectacular scenery and beautiful fall weather.
Children love to swim and play in the water and the Saint George River Home has two pools and a hot tub. The outdoor pool is great for families to swim and relax by the pool when the weather is nice as it often is in the fall months. The indoor pool is great for swimming and playing in the water when the weather is rainy or windy. The hot tub is amazing to relax in the evening when the nighttime temperatures get chilly and is great for children to play in when the weather is cool.
There are many great restaurants in the Saint George area just a few minutes away from the Saint George River Home. Families that enjoy American, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Indian, or Chinese food will find great restaurants in Saint George that fit their taste.
